I'm a cinematic style photographer based in North GA. I love to travel to the beach or further up north in the mountains. If I'm not out photographing you beautiful people, trying a new baking recipe, or working on a quilt, you can find me at any and all thrift stores, yard sales, or an estate sale. I love all my granny activities. I'm a mom of 2 beautiful girls, a wife to the most amazing human, and aunt to so many babies. Aside from mom my favorite name is Aunt Belle.

hiya, I'm Shelby

Cinematic photography isn't really about making something look like a movie, it's about making it feel like one. It all starts with intention. Cinematic images are grounded in emotion, nostalgia, stillness, and connection. They feel like a frame pulled from a story that existed before and will continue after. Light plays such a huge role. You have to let light fall off, allow the shadows to exist. At it's core, cinematic photography is less about perfection and more about presence.

Have a story to tell? I’d love to hear it. Let’s begin with a simple note.
